Deciding to euthanize a pet is an agonizing process.  A hard decision to make is whether you want to be present during the euthanasia.  Some people wish to be with their pet while others feel the experience would be too much to handle. Whether you choose to be with your pet or not, be reassured that you have given them a lifetime of love and either decision is appropriate.  Pet loss can be very challenging so feel free to speak with the veterinarian and staff about any concerns you may have.  Eastside Animal Hospital offers both private and general cremations.  Once again, a staff member will assist you with this decision.
